The Onyx piping engineering and design team has extensive experience in design and construction of mechanical systems in the process industries, including:

Because the Onyx piping engineering team is significantly experienced in construction, we are able to design systems high in constructability and operability. Our piping design team has a rolling average of over 10 years of revamp design experience, and can analyze and design pipe support systems to utilize existing facility parameters.

The team is committed to project quality, and will not complete and deliver design until all quality verifications are confirmed. We routinely convert out-of-service piping to save clients money and time. The design is complete after field surveying, measuring and checking.

Because pipe engineering occurs prior to release of design, the final design has met stress engineering requirements. Part of our success in piping design has been working within an operating congested area, especially in the field of modular design. The Onyx piping team has engineered and designed offshore topsides and process modules for overseas deployment at a Middle East lube oil re-refining plant.

Bath Engineering Inc.

Onyx has an alliance agreement with Bath Engineering Corporation(www.bathgroup.com). Bath Engineering was founded fifty years ago and supports Onyx with expertise in heavy power distribution systems, security and control systems. Bath has approximately fourty employees and designs a wide varity of mechanical, electrical and instrument controls sytems projects. The firm specializes in industrial process design and military projects for anti-terrorist security systems. Bath's engineers are recognized experts in the design of process instrumentation and controls, security monitoring and video surveillance, HVAC and central plant boiler systems, power distribution and SCADA systems.

Onyx has a close working relationship and alliance with LNV Inc.(www.lnvinc.com) which complements Onyx with structural engineering and design in process industries and the marine terminal environment. LNV is a leader in engineering and resources planning for Civil, Transportation, and Structural design projects, as well as construction managment. LNV provides quality service for Municipal, Industrial, Commercial, and Governmental agencies in the Texas Coastal Bend area.
